Co-operative Voloentieri
The social co-operative “Voloentieri”
registered since 2006 to “B” section of Regional Register of Social Co-operatives,
constituted itself according to Art. 1 of L. 381/1991, and is a nonprofit organization.
It has the purpose to engage the general interest to human promotion and to social
integration of citizens through productive activities finalized to
professional integration of socially disadvantaged people, having special care of people in uneasy condition.
The oe was deliberately inserted to express the principal aim of this initiative:
the letter o of the alphabet indicates the social exclusion of weak
parts of society, the letter e, on the contrary, indicates their inclusion
in society, with the purpose of
“lead the way without make its own way”.
“Development and Proficiency” foundation, since 2007 commits itself in promoting training and
introducing disadvantaged people in world of work through different legislative instruments
(L. 68/99; Art. 14 of D. Lgs. 10/09/03 n. 276), becoming “incubator of social co-operative B type”.
ACTIVITIES in progress:
Assembling of general manufactured products such as mechanical and plastic components.
Personalization of t-shirts and work garments by thermo press or embroider machine.
Olive harvest.
Gift wrapping.
Production and sale of extra-virgin olive oil.
Voloentieri cooperative adhered to the territorial general agreement named “Agreement of experimentation
finalized to integration of disabled people having particular problems in being introduced into the common
working cycle”, drawn up on 10.10.2006 by Chieti Province (Department of Labor Policies and Professional Training),
Job Centres, employers and employees trade-unions, affiliations, social cooperatives in consortium or singularly,
aimed at encouraging the real application of rules about the right to work of disabled people.
Moreover, the cooperative receives students from schools and training agencies in order to carry
out trainings and internships.
