The CISI CONSORTIUM was founded in 1992 by the union of 13 companies having the will of being a group of Honda Italia. suppliers. Today it associates 18 medium sized businesses specialized in production of components and services destined to motorcycle and automotive industry. It represent a strategic junction in relationship between large and medium sized businesses, mainly because it encouraged consolidation of a positive integration model through the creation of a dynamic, innovative and competitive sub-supplying network.
Key element of CISI organization is to compete through synergies and to operate in a strategic synergy, together with a keen attention to territory, that is carried out through environmental protection and collaboration with education fields at every level.

The CISI consortium is a partner of “Development and Proficiency” foundation, constituted in 2002; this is supported by representatives of some of the most important companies operating in Chieti province. and territory. The foundation promotes and carries out activities such as guidance and training, through classes and seminars, prizes and scholarships, research; it also promotes master plans in the field of innovative training methods, having the aim to satisfy cultural and professional growth expectations of human resources, answering to companies professionalism needs with appropriate timing and methods.

Willing to improve its own territory, CISI placed the basis for a new project becoming reality: the Automotive Innovation Campus, aimed at increasing local industries competitiveness and enact a new way to do business. CISI is really a team that, in a winning way, makes possible a competitive system, thanks to a partnership between the best companies of the field, always succeeding the right objective and satisfying clients.

CISI motto is exactly “being a team”; and in such being a team, this year it participates to Hornet Cup championship.

This initiative hits the mark on a further important experience in the view of “Automotive Innovation Campus” that will be situated in Val di Sangro. Symbol of Campus is the Itinerant Automotive Laboratory, represented by the Rossocromo Motorhome.
